Mountain Landscape with an Amorous Couple and a Hunter. The inscription at the upper right translates as follows: ‘Roelant Savery depicted this from life in Bohemia.’ It has generally been assumed that Jacob Matham, who published the print, also engraved it. The loose, lively style, however, deviates significantlyfrom Matham’s much tauter manner of engraving. Perhaps Savery made the print himself after his own drawing.
