The display is certainly a grand one and will unquestionably be of immense benefit to the trade. Just prior to the opening official action was taken which results practically in mak- ing floriculture a department of the Fair instead of a bureau of the department of horticulture. Hereafter Mr. Thorpe will report to and be responsible to the Director General direct and will be free from the necessity of consulting any other ofiicial. This
