Garí house in Argentona in the Maresme region of Barcelona province, Catalonia, Spain
The Garí house and the estate that surrounds it were designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch and were built between 1898 and 1900 in Argentona, province of Barcelona, Spain. The property is a magnificent complex that includes a large house, which is actually more of a palace than a house, with a large number of sumptuous outbuildings with the addition of a small theater, splendid gardens, a Neo-Romanesque chapel and the ensemble of the fences that by themselves are a work of art. The house was built on the site of an old farmhouse owned by the financier Garí, after whom it is named.
