J4 JO U. Commode with Ormolu Mounts. The bronzes on this commode are busts of Romanemperors, and a group in the centre represents Cupid Vanquishing Pam with the inscription Omnia vincit Amor. These bronzes are by Jean-Jacques Caffieri, who was born in 1723, and died in1792.
