View from the mainland by the now derelict bridge. Dark clouds with bright contrasting patches where the sun shines through. Some remnants of the old railway bridge can be seen emerging from the dark sea. The bridge became uneconomical to repair in 1962 and has steadily decayed since then. The area is now part of a nature reserve.
