Rose Guy de Maupassant


Guy de Maupassant (also called ‘Romantic Fragrance’, meisocrat) A Romantica Floribunda rose introduced by Meilland in 1996. The cupped, very double flowers are flesh-pink with a slightly paler reverse, and delicious delicate perfume. The parentage is a seedling of the Shrub meituraphar and ‘Mrs John Laing’ , crossed with the Floribunda ‘Egeskov’. Grows to as much as 5 ft ( m) in height. Hardy to -10°F (-23°C), Zone 6.
