German propeller-driven railcar - this strange looking railway vehicle held the world speed record for rail transport in 1931

Cigarette card with illustration of German propeller-driven railcar. This strange looking railway vehicle held the world speed record for rail transport in 1931 on a trial run and could accommodate 40 passengers. The card was part of an old set of cigarette cards from WD and HO Wills, Bristol and London. The set is entitled 'Speed'. These cards were given away singly in packets of cigarettes in 1938. They were (and are still) popular collector's items - vintage nineteen thirties graphics for editorial use only.
