This image may not be used to state or imply ESA endorsement of any company or product PROBA-V satellite testing. European Space Agency's (ESA's) PROBA-V (PRoject for OnBoard Autonomy-V) satellite undergoing final testing. PROBA-V is the fourth satellite in the European Space Agency's series of PROBA low-cost satellites that are being used to test new spacecraft technologies, whilst also carrying scientific instruments. Proba-V will support applications such as land use, worldwide vegetation classification, crop monitoring, famine prediction, food security, disaster monitoring and biosphere studies.
