The method or char-acter of the work in no respect differs from that suggested for thedetail drawings. If a scale of 3 inches = 1 foot be used, the size of sheet mustbe 24 inches X 36 inches. The student, however, will perhaps findit easier to use a scale of 1J inches = 1 foot, in which case the ordi-nary size, 18 inches X 24 inches, will suffice.
