View From the Sentinel Dome, Yosemite photographed by Carleton Watkins in 1865. He was a pioneer of large format landscape photography using a huge camera which used 18x22 inch glass negatives. His favourite loaction was Yosemite Vallley in Califonia and his photos of the valley were a big factor in the US government's decision to preserve it as a national park. NOTE: This is a panorama that I made from the three photos cbw9768, 9769 and 9770.
