It is a clear cut genus,differing fnjm the others in the family in the expansion ofthe front of the muzzle, and by the heavy broad characterof the skull. Eurygeniops latirostris Ameghino E. latirostris Amegh., loc. citecl above. This is the type species and is based on a muzzle whichhas never been figured, but which I figure, the drawingbeing made from a photograph taken by Professor Scottand kindly furnished me.
