Thassos is a Greek island in the north of the Aegean Sea. This shot shows the mountains of the interior behind the village of Chrysi Ammoundia (Golden Beach), on the north east coast of Thassos. It was taken not long after the sun had set at the end of a perfect Spring day and is a study of the grandeur of the mountains and shades of cool blues
