Young male leopard in a tree in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya, Africa. There we were relaxing in the Mara, tablecloth spread over the landrover bonnet, boxes of food and water out just thinking of starting lunch when one of the group thought she saw a leopard. These are elusive creatures so there was no way we were going to miss out - this was our first, and for all we knew, perhaps our only leopard. So food and water back in the vehicle and we went off looking. It took a while to find him. But this young male leopard was our reward.
