Suzanne looks for jobs on the internet from the living room at her home. 53 year old Suzanne Brereton has been unemployed since 2007 after being made redundant from her job as a Personal Assistant which paid around £50,000 a year. She is at risk of losing her home in Sevenoaks and struggles to raise her daughter 16 and 19 year old son. Sevenoaks is a town situated in the west of Kent, England with a population of around 18,500 and lies miles south east of the centre of London at the southern end of one of the principal commuter rail lines. The presence of Knole House, a large mansion, led to Sevenoaks becoming a village with a market established in the 13th century. There are a number of independent educational establishments in the town including Sevenoaks School, one of Britain's leading independent schools.
