It has often been remarked thatany mounting board will do for carbon or platinumprints, as they are permanent, but the mildewpossibihtyhas been overlooked when this remark is made. Pearlstein, is areal live wire and his studio has long been recognizedas the home of the highest standard of photography andnumbers among its patrons the eclat of Brooklynssociety. Mr. Pearlstein is possessed of high ideals, and onlythe very best work that can be produced is permittedto leave his exacting art shop with the impress of hisname. A great many leaders today in the photographicart, we are told, looked about for some time, engagingfirst in one occupation and then another before finallytaking up photography and following it as a life work,but Mr. Pearlstein began his photographic career inthe same town in which he now lives and work
