Male Bearded Tit on reed

Male Bearded Tit perched in the early morning sun. Taken during the peak display period when small family groups of birds join together into a larger flock of 50 or so birds with the males exhibiting what looks like courtship behaviour. This also seems to coincide with their change in diet from insects to seeds (when the insects start to decline in numbers at the end of September).
