Miles Leach Hutchinson, justice of thepeace at East Stroudsburg, Pa., was born atHutchinson Station, on the Belvidere and Delaware Railroad, Warren County, N. In 1866 he removed to EastStroudsburg, where he bought a farm of sixty-five acres, now owned by M. M. Kistler, which,after eighteen months, he sold, and for one yearthereafter resided in Stroudsburg. In 1869 hesettled in East Stroudsburg and built his pres- a third term of five years, and in the boroughelection of 1886 he was again re-elected for afourth term to the same office, notwithstandingthe large majority is Democratic, fully attestingthe confidence of the public in his fitnessand ability to discharge the responsible dutiesof that office with justice to all, and in equityin all matters brought before hi
