Ceaddock, Esq., Dear Sir: Our exper- ience in handling the "Elberta" peach leads us to think it a very profitable variety for growers on account of its shipping qualities. A car load of them shipped us from Atlan- ta, Ga., last season, which were due at Cin- cinnati on Friday morn- ing, (shipped on Tues- day) were delayed until Sunday. On Monday morning they were in good order and brought fine prices. We saw some of the same lot in the hands of a retailer, still in good condition, on the following Situr- day.
