A Peshmerga soldier explains avenues of approach to a possible improvised explosive device site under the guidance of Italian and British trainers during the pilot program of Instructor Development Course, Bnaslawa, Iraq, Nov. 29, 2016. The course teaches Peshmerga soldiers effective teach-back methods to enable self-sufficient instruction. Coalition forces conducted the training as part of the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity mission to increase the security capacity of Peshmerga security forces fighting ISIL in Iraq and Syria.
