A model 1938 dagger for leaders of the Water Police,with portepee and hanger,Maker Alcoso,Solingen Etched blade(minimal spots)displaying sailing ships,tendrils and a fouled anchor,the ricasso with maker's mark. Pommel and crossguard in the form of the model 1929 naval dagger with partially preserved gilding. Dark-blue leathered grip with wire wrap and applied,gilt(faded)copper police emblem in the Alcoso style without perforations. "Lightning bolt" scabbard with areas of intact gilding.
