Abdo- men cylindrical, male gonopore with four epiandrous spigots, ALS with one widened, one pointed, and six cylindrically-shaped spigots, PMS with two small spigots. Sexual dimorphism slight, female eye triads not on stalks, chelicerae unmodified. Body size as in males, legs slightly shorter (tibia l:-6-8). Epigynum weakly sclerotized, with 'knob', internal genitalia with pair of very large pore-plates. Monophyly. In the analyses using equal and successive character weighting, the core group is supported by the proximo-ventral enlargement of the male palpal femur (char. 28) and possibly by the sclerotized em- bolus (Figs. 628, 649, 654, 657). As for the entire species group, these analyses identify three synapo- morphies (chars. 3, 4, 21). Using implied character weighting with K=3-6 still resolves the Ph. minang group as monophyletic, but based on different char- acters (chars. 48, 53); with K=l-2, the group becomes paraphyletic with respect to the Ph. ethagala group. 147.
