Pete Garvin, commander, Navy Recruiting Command, speaks with Durant, Okla., native Damage Controlman 1st Class Caleb Peterson and Fire Controlman 1st Class Michael Vela assigned to Navy Recruiting Station Victoria during the admiral’s initial visit to Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio.
