PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 22, 2018) Cmdr. Patrick L. German, commanding officer of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48), wishes the crew a happy Thanksgiving before dinner aboard the ship. Ashland, assigned to Commander, Amphibious Squadron 11, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
