The numerous filaments are of a beauti- ful dark blue, with rings of white near the base, contrasting beautifully with the dark brown color below. 15c. each. Pereskia ^ctileata. [Lemon Vint or Barhatitx * G&oseherry.) A climbing Cactus with true leaves, much like Lemon leaves, but more fleshy, with stout spines at the base of each leaf. Bears in the greatest profusion the most exquisite single white flowers, resembling white Roses, and of almost overpowering fragrance. These are followed by edible fruits about the size of a gooseberry.
