LATIFOLIA. Foliage large, oblong, crimson, orange and green. VERSICOLOR. Foliage ovate, olive, crimson and chocolate; when used for edgings they are to be frequently sheared like box edging, when the young tips will assume the most brilliant hues. AMARANTHUS SALICIFOLIUS. This plant is of pyramidal form, from 3 to 5 ft. high, branching close to the ground. The leaves in the earlier stages of growth are beauti- fully undulated, of a bronzy green shade; as the plants mature the branches assume a bright orange red color; highly ornamental; plants ready May 1st. 25 ARALIA PAPYRIFERA.
