The British Reoccupation of Singapore Japanese prisoners of war exhume the body of an Allied prisoner of war thought to have been killed by the Japanese whilst in captivity. A number of exhumations were carried out by a team under Captain R S Ross of the Royal Army Medical Corps with the object of gaining evidence of Japanese atrocities for the war crimes trials held at Singapore.
