Choristers from Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire getting an early Christmas present as they get a free ride on a 107 year old carousel on Friday afternoon November 17th as the Cathedral holds a Christmas market. Choristers from Ely Cathedral let off steam on a traditional carousel at the city's Christmas market this afternoon (Fri). The resident choristers wore their red cassocks as they enjoyed the fairground ride outside the 12th Century Cathedral. The Ely Christmas Gift and Food Fair is the biggest of its kind in the county and expects to attract 15,000 visitors over the next two days.
