London, UK. 20th September 2017. Among those protesting as Donald Trump was inaugurated as US President where supporters of the London Guantanmo Campaign, who have protested outside the US Embassy in London every month for over 8 years calloing for tghe closure of Guantanamo. They say Trump is a climate change denier, has a long history of racist and Islamophobic outbursts, has boasted of sexually assaulting women and has downplayed the severity of sexual violence. The protest, organised by Stand Up to Racism and other groups stood in solidarity with protesters in the US who had called for protests around the world. A smaller protest by more radical groups took place in Trafalgar Square, watched by a large force of police. Peter Marshall/Alamy Live News
