It was but a type of theflower carnivals and fiestas which have been held in SanDiego, Los Angeles, Pasadena and Santa Barbara for anumber of jears, and is an illustration of the love for thebeautiful things of out of doors which is yearly growingstronger in the minds and hearts of the people of thisfavored T-^^PT^vTS^i^
