Maj. Gen. Michael E. Stencel, Adjutant General, Oregon National Guard, met with Secretary of Agriculture Thomas Vilsack during the Oregon Interagency Wildfire Response Event in Salem, July 3. The event also included Gov. Kate Brown, Oregon Office of Emergency Management officials and forestry officials to update and discuss current wildfire efforts.
