Greece: Anagnostis Mantakas (1817 - 1916), Cretan freedom fighter, forecourt of Trimatiri Cathedral, Chania, Crete. In 1913, Anagnostis Mantakas with the help of Hatzi Mihalis Giannaris, raised the Greek Flag over the Firkas Fort in Chania. This signalled the reunification of Crete with Greece.
