Gorget ca. 1630 probably Dutch The embossed battle scenes derive from engravings by Antonio Tempesta (1555–1630) and Jacques Callot (1592–1635). The style of the surrounding figures, as well as the ornamental framework, is reminiscent of Dutch goldsmiths' work.
