Recruits with Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, perform log drills at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Jan. 22. The recruits had to hold the log as a team for the entire session, which lasted for approximately an hour. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Kilo Company is scheduled to graduate March 16.
