FORT IRWIN, Calif. — An OPFOR Surrogate Vehicle from Assassin Troop, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, maneuvers into position to engage an M1A2 Abrams Tank during an attack near the Iron Triangle in the National Training Center, May 2, 2017. The 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan., are in the midst of the NTC Rotation 17-06, which includes force-on-force operations followed by live-fire exercises in order to prepare Army BCT’s for any contingency operation.
