All the varieties offered are worthy of cultivation ; they are hardy if given protection, but the most satisfactory method of wintering is to bury the roots in sand in a cool cellar. Coralina. A dwarf variety, rarely exceeding 2} feel, producing freely from .\uL;u-t to Seplem- /V ].j cts. eac orange-scariet stamen Very large heads of fiery-red; August to Octolier ; 4 to 5 feet. I'kitoma 'I j kassing to primrose-yellow as the flowers ex- pand ; distinct and novel. 50 cts. each. R. Wilson Kerr. One of the finest yet introduced. It is not only early, but is a continuous bloomer, as free in this respect as T. Pfitzerii, producing per- fect flowers until the end of October. Color rich, brilliant orange-scarlet, which does not vary at any lime. 75 cts. each ; $7 50 per do^. Star of Baden Baden. A remarkably strong grower, frefjuently producing flower stems 7 feet liigh, with spikes of bloom 15 to 18 inches long, which are of primrose yellow, with green shadings and long, protruding orange-reil stamens.
