St Laurentii Chapel ( or Old Library ) and one of the west towers of Lund Domkyrkan ( Cathedral ), Lund, Skåne, Sweden.

Also known as the Old Library, the chapel is assumed to be the only surviving part of St Laurence's monastery. Almost all of western section of the Cathedral was rebuilt in the 19th century. The original Cathedral was consecrated in 1145 by Archbishop Eskil, but a fire destroyed the roof in 1234. The [replacement stone vaulting] was too heavy for the walls and restoration by Adam van Düren in the 16th century saw the addition of buttresses and sculpture. It continued to deteriorate until completely renovated in the 19th century by C G Brunius and Helgo Zetterwall in a Romanesque architectural style.
