A very large quantity will be neededand the rough timber from an extensive area will be required each year to supplyit. This means that tlie Rathbun Company will be greatly interested in main-taining a constant supply of wood, tributary to their works at Deseronto and forthis reason a system of scientific forestry practice is necessary for this firm. 36 !
