Editorial use only. Findochty is a small former fishing town situated in the north east of Scotland between the larger fishing town Buckie and Portknockie further to the east. The small harbour is now used more by leisure craft than fishing boats. Findochty Church can be seen prominently to the left of the picture. It is n noticeable that some of the older fishing cottages are facing the sea with a windowless gable end as a form of shelter.
