The view taken in 1828, shows the River Seine taken from under the Pont Notre Dame shows the activities on the Seine in the 19th century. The Pont Notre Dame is a stone bridge with arches and links Porte St Jacques with Porte St Martin. The image was drawn by J Nash under the direction of A Pugin and engraved by Watkins
