Alterations and special maintenance work was carried out on a portion ofthe high-tension line, Eugenia Power House to Chatsworth, to meet conditionsimposed by extensive improvements to the highway immediately north of Markdale. The river crossing at Grand Valley on the section of high-tension line betweenFraxa Junction and Grand Valley was remodelled to guard against the troublecaused by the ice flows at time of spring freshets. 1500.
