Editoe Bkeedek and Sportsman: Much has beensaid and written within the last year upon the subjectof the long continuous racing and booking in and aboutSan Francisco, discussion being strongly provoked bythe legislation which has been resorted to in this andother States upon tliat subject. I would again callattention to the subject, after repeating a few of thearguments that have in the past been urged for andagainst continuous racing in one city or town; alsobookmaking and poolrooms.
