Picture dated February 6th shows Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire, known as the Ship of the Fens, shrouded in fog on Monday morning. Majestic Ely Cathedral was seen shrouded in fog this morning (Mon) as England sees another week of freezing nights. The cathedral, known as the Ship of the Fens, looked like it was rising out of the misty Cambridgeshire Fens as much of the country saw temperatures dip below freezing last night. The fog patches are set to clear this morning leaving a dry day with long spells of sunshine and light winds, according to the Met Office. It is expected to be cloudy and windy in the far north and northwest with rain or drizzle at times.
