The hand-built Aqua Luna Junk was launched in 2006 by the Aqua Restaurant Group. It has a capacity to carry 80 passengers and was hand-built, over an 18 month period, using traditional shipbuilding methods by local craftsmen. It has distinctive red, batwing sails and is named 'Cheung Po Tsai' after a 19th century pirate who terrorised the South china Sea from a base on Cheung Chau Island. The junk operates from Central Pier 9 on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Public Pier 4 in Tsim Sha Tsui (outside the Cultural Centre).
