Fore wing cupreous brown with pale golden yellow markings edged with chocolate-brown ; a yellow patch on basal area from below costa to inner margin, its outer edge obliquely curved ; a yellow postmedial band constricted at middle and with a round crimson discoidal spot on it; a chocolate-brown terminal line. Hind wing crimson. Underside of fore wing crimson, the costa chocolate- brown interrupted beyond middle by a yellowish white streak. Hab. Brazil, Santos, Gruaruja (D. Jones), type f d in Coll. D.
