The Monymusk Reliquary, 8th century.

The Monymusk Reliquary is a blend of Pictish and Irish style, probably made by monks. It is said to have been the brechbrennoch of St Columba, and was carried by the victorious Gaelic army at the battle of Bannockburn. It is from the National Museum of Scotland, 8th century.
