Connel Bridge at Falls of Lora Loch Etive near Oban in western Scotland


Editorial use only. Connel Bridge connects the Oban area with Ballachulish and Fort William to the north. Originally a railway bridge providing for a train service from Connel station to Ballachulish it has been converted to road traffic many years ago. The tidal flows can be observed at the Falls of Lora below the bridge. This is a favourte area for canoeing particularly when the tide is flowing out.
