Activator for an implantable heart monitor being held by an 11-year-old boy. This patient has been implanted with the Reveal Plus Insertable Loop Recorder (ILR) monitor from Medtronic. This monitor is being used to investigate loss of consciousness (syncope). The activator is used to switch on the monitor when symptoms of the condition occur.
