Owen Geer ; 1919; Javeline Throw. Owen could throw the javeline well, but his lack ofexperience lost him his place in the Conference meet. Clee Hickman; 1919; 100-Yard Dash. Clee was hurt in the early part of the season and nevergot back into shape. Ernest Howe; 1919; 440 Dash. Ernie showed up well in the 440, finishing- fourthin the Conference meet. Seward Iliff ; 1919; 440 man of many virtues. Crawford McLaughlin; D 1919; High Jump, 120 and220 Low did well in everything, taking third place in the120 low hurdles. Melvin Osborn ; 1919; High Jump; 100 and 220 entered too many events and cheated himselfout of first place in the high jump by running the 220in the middle of the field event.
