One of the grandest of the yinuate-leaved Palms, of very gracef ul outline, and a great favorite. Stands light frosts unharmed. Small plants 25c. each. Very fine, one and one-half to two feet, by express, 50c. each. Sabal Palmetto—The historical Cabbage Palm or Pal- tnctto of the South, very hardy, resisting severe cold unharmed, as well as a great deal of abuse. A very ornamental Fan Palm, and when the plant becomes old the leaves are of great size. 2oc. each. Washingtonia Flllfora—The Filifera or Weeping Palm. This is one of the loveliest Fan Palms in existence and one of the very best of all Palms for house culture as it is very hardy and will thrive anywhere that the commonest pot-piants will. As shown in the cut, numerous long while filaments depend from the edges of the leaves, giving it a beautiful weeping' appear- ance, whence its specific and common names. In the lower South it is perfectly hardy and may be planted in the open ground where it will grow with astonishing rapidity. A plant six inches high planted in a yard in Galveston, Tex., grew in five years to be 15 feet tali with a spread of 20 feet. Like all Palms, its seed- leaves are long and narrow, but it very quickly puts out the fan-shaped ones covered with filaments. As an ornamental pot plant, and for the centers of vases, etc., it cannot be too highly recommended. Fine, strong plants, 20c. each, Washingtonia Robusta—This is quite distinct from the above, a more robust grower and in some respects a handsomer plant. It is a Palm of great beauty and difficult to obtain true to name. Fine, strong plants, 30c. OREODOXA Plea
