The Co-operative group is looking to offload its farms and is considering the sale of its pharmacies as the business undergoes a radical restructuring in the wake of scandals that have beset its banking division. The move comes after Euan Sutherland, chief executive, warned last week that the group’s 2013 results would be “pretty ugly” as a slightly better than expected performance from the group’s funerals and pharmacies businesses failed to offset the problems of the bank.
